Kelly began cheerleading whilst at Sheffield University (Sheffield Sabrecats) in 2006. Since that time, Kelly has competed on several successful teams in Birmingham (Stars Elite), Manchester (Rising Stars) and Leeds (Aviator Allstars) which included performing at the Cheerleading World Championships in 2012 and 2013 and the European Championships in 2013. In addition, Kelly has coached cheerleading for over 8 years for many large and successful clubs. Kelly is also a qualified judge and regularly sits on the panel at competitions across the country for many notable Event Providers. Kelly also works for Incredibly Cool Events (ICE), as their Scoring and Rules Representative, alongside judging for the company. This season, Kelly is coaching Obsession, O2, Ovation, Orbit, Origin and Omega, and the four International Teams.
Allie has been involved with cheerleading for over 13 years after joining a community club in Wigan at the age of 14. Allie continued cheerleading at Leeds University (Leeds Celtics), winning several university and national titles. Allie then joined Aviator Allstars in Leeds where she met Kelly and competed at the World and European Championships in 2013. She assistant coached the succesful Leeds Metropolitan University (Carnegie Aviators) team in 2013 and has judged at IDTA cheerleading competitions in the past. In 2014 she joined Genesis Cheer Intensity and won a worlds bid with the co-ed level 5 team. Allie’s full time job is as an HR Assistant at a travel marketing company in Leeds. She also regularly sits on the panel at Incredibly Cool Events as a scoring judge. This season, Allie is coaching Obsession, O2, Oasis, and Odyssey, and the four International Teams.
Katie started competitive cheerleading in 2011 with Aviator Allstars, where she was coached by Kelly and Allie. She had great competitive success, and competed at the prestigious Cheersport Nationals, Atlanta, in 2014. She started Assistant Coaching for White Rose Cheer when it started in September 2015, and has gone from strength to strength as a coach. This season, Katie is coaching Orion, Oblique and Odyssey.
Vanessa began cheerleading whilst at Keele University (Keele Panthers) in 2012 where she trained as an athlete and was Club Captain and Coach in her third year. Vanessa was an athlete in cheer teams, stunt groups, jazz, hip hop and pom routines. In 2016 Vanessa joined White Rose Cheer Omega and not long after, started coaching again. Before becoming involved in cheerleading, Vanessa has been dancing since she was young and teaching dance since she was 15. This season, Vanessa is coaching Orbit and our two dance teams, Oculus and Oracle.
Helena was introduced to the Cheerleading world in her university days at Bradford, where she competed for 3 and a half years winning several titles and competitions as well as performing at university events. Helena has also competed as part of the Evolution Allstars in Huddersfield. She joined White Rose Cheer in 2016 having finished University and looking to continue to be involved in cheerleading. This began Helena’s coaching in cheerleading. The thing she finds most rewarding about coaching is watching other athletes develop and progress and seeing the joy and pride it brings them. Her full time job is as a recoveries specialist within an auditing firm. This season, Helena is coaching Opal and Oblique.
James started cheerleading for the University of Leeds Celtics in 2006, the then most successful University team in the UK. He then joined Aviator Allstars Level 6 team, where he competed at Worlds in 2011. He’s since had great Worlds level success, making two Worlds trips with Rising Stars Midnight, where he was also a coach. He will be competing this year with Team England Coed at the ICU World Championships. James specialises in Private Classes in both flying and tumbling, and helps to coach Obsession, Ovation and our International Teams.
Laura started cheerleading at the age of 14 in Wigan at Supreme Starlights. She then joined Aviator Allstars, and trained with the University of Birmingham Pussycats where she became a University Grand Champion in 2013. She then joined Genesis Cheer where she competed at Worlds in 2015. Laura started coaching for White Rose Cheer in 2016, and this season she is coaching O2.
Sophie began cheerleading for South Tyneside Cheerleading Club, and then moved to University in Leeds, where she cheered for Leeds Trinity Titans. She joined WRC in 2016, and began coaching some months later. This season, Sophie is coaching Ospreys, Opal and Oasis.
Tinuade started her cheer career at Cheermania Allstars in Sheffield, before continuing at University of Bradford Ravens. She has been coaching for some years and joined the coaching program in 2017. This season, Tinuade is coaching Origin, Oasis and assisting with International Team, Revolution.
Beth joined White Rose Cheer in 2017 as a competitor for Senior team, Omega. She has joined the coaching team this season, and will be coaching Ovation.
Jaymie started cheering at Lazer Cheer Academy in Catterick, before moving to Leeds Trinity University. She has competed at Worlds twice in 2015 and 2016 with the now disbanded Heroes Allstars. Jaymie has been coaching for some years and joined our coaching program in 2017. This season, due to living away from the area, Jaymie is coaching our International Program.
Cheryl has been coaching for three years, and has coached at school level and with local club Genesis before joining White Rose Cheer in 2015. She has assisted with the teams for two seasons, and now this season will be concentrating on assisting O2.
Rozie began cheerleading at the University of Durham where she was part of the university team, Durham Divas. She joined White Rose Cheer in 2016 as an athlete on Omega and started coaching soon after. This season Rozie will be coaching Opal.
Steve began cheering at the University of Teeside and soon moved to Aviator Allstars Level 6 team. He has had great competitive success as as part of Unity Allstars Black, and then Genesis Cheer, and has competed at worlds several times as part of both teams. Last year, Steve won a Silver Medal at the ICU Worlds as part of Team England Coed. He joined the coaching program in 2017. Steve specialises in Private Classes within the program.
